For the diesel vehicles listed above, regulating throttles with the reference numbers 7523D and 7497D were installed at the start of series production. During series production (from 2009), these regulating throttles were replaced with Pierburg regulating throttles, among others.

With the adapter cables 4.07360.49.0 and 4.07360.52.0, regulating throttles installed before 2009 can also be replaced with Pierburg regulating throttles.


Note:
The relevant adapter cable is required when replacing the installed regulating throttles 7523D and 7497D with Pierburg regulating throttles (see table).
